Lead Hammers have design features allowing longer life and durability.  Step head design ensures uniform compression of hammer head.  The welded internal head-ring eliminates any head pivoting as lead is being compressed.  Our lead hammers are manufactured in a full size range from 14oz. to 18 lb. sledge.  Use them where force needs to be applied without marring finished parts.  Complete recasting service for replaceable heads is available to meet your needs.  Got a big problem, taking big dies apart?  You need something that won’t peen over shafts?  Try the 15lb. or 18 lb. lead headed sledges.  They are also re-casted when worn.   If you need to get into tight places try our lead hand drifts and they also can be re-casted.

Brass hammers are pressed and pinned on a steel rod with an aluminum cast handle for long and hard use.  Brass hammers come in standard sizes or can be custom made to any size that you want.
